Mountaineers Beat Trinity 59-57 With Seconds Left in Regulation

KERRVILLE, TX: The Mountaineers earned a 59-57 conference win against the Trinity Tigers at home on Tuesday evening. Freshman, Alex Dehoyos passed the ball through multiple Tigers to sophomore Matthew Rindahl with seconds remaining to score the game-winning basket. 

SCORING: Senior, Josh Bashford was the leading scorer of the game with 13 points, while sophomores, Ellis Jones and Chase Pinter contributed 12 and 10 points respectively. Schreiner went 41% from the field and shot 32% from three-point range. The Mountaineers are now 13-11 this season and are 9-6 in the SCAC.

UP NEXT: The Mountaineers will host the University of Dallas for their last game of the regular season on Friday at 7:30 PM and will also do their senior recognition prior to the start of the game.
