SHERMAN, TX: The Mountaineers traveled to Sherman, Texas for a conference game on Friday evening against Austin College. Schreiner defeated the Roos 76-74 in overtime.
SCORING: Sophomore, Matthew Rindahl was the only student-athlete to earn a double-double in the game after contributing 24 points and 17 rebounds. Freshman, Cameron Davis and senior, Josh Bashford added 12 and 11 points for Schreiner respectively. Rindahl is the seventh leading scorer in the SCAC, averaging 14.1 points per game. With this overtime win, the Mountaineers are now 8-9 this season and improved to 4-4 in the SCAC.
