ABILENE, TEXAS: The Mountaineers traveled to Abilene, Texas for a non-conference game on Saturday afternoon against Hardin-Simmons. The Cowboys earned a 97-84 win over Schreiner.
SCORING: Again, sophomore, Matthew Rindahl led both teams with 26 total points and is the fourth leading scorer in the SCAC with 17 points per game (view SCAC sorted stats here), he is also ranked fifth for field goal percentage in the SCAC with 55%. Ellis Jones was the second leading scorer for Schreiner with 15 total points. The team is now 2-4 on the season.
