KERRVILLE, TX: The Schreiner University Men's Basketball team lost their road game against Whitworth University 70-88.
The Mountaineers traveled to Spokane, Washington, this weekend to take on Whitworth University at their home gym. It was a hard fought game for Schreiner, but unfortunately, they came up short in the second half.
Leading the effort for Schreiner was none other than senior Point Guard, Alex Dehoyos. Dehoyos filled the box score once again with 27 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds.
It wasn't the outcome that the Mountaineers were looking for, but they will get a quick bounce back opportunity tomorrow as they continue their trip to Washington with a game against Whitman College.
