KERRVILLE, TX: Schreiner University Athletic Director Bill Raleigh has announced the hiring for Colby Johle as the Bass Fishing Head Coach.

"We're excited to have Colby join Schreiner Athletics as the Bass Fishing coach," says Athletic Director Bill Raleigh, "He brings the fishing expertise coupled with a commitment to academic excellence that will help this young program continue to grow and develop." 

Before coming to Schreiner, Colby Johle was in the United States Navy from 1993-2000 where he was stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. He then came back to Texas where he worked as an Admissions and Marketing Director for Preferred Care in Ennis. In 2006 Johle, came to Kerrville to work at River Hills Health and Rehabilitation and a Nurse Liaison and Admission/Marketing Director. Johle is currently an Executive Director and Area Director of Operations at Brookdale Senior Living in Kerrville. 

Johle has 14 years of competitive fishing experience and excited to bring his knowledge of the sport to the Schreiner Mountaineer Bass Fishing Program.
